Indie rock pioneers The Wombats and Razorlight join forces for a very special joint headline show as part of the Hitchin Priory Summer Series on Saturday 30th August 2025 with special guests still to be announced. As two of the most celebrated bands of the 2000s indie rock boom, they will bring their biggest hits and high energy to the Hitchin Priory stage for an unmissable summer event.

The Wombats have been stalwarts of the indie scene in the UK since the release of their debut album A Guide To Love, Loss & Desperation in 2007. Over the last 18 years the trio have managed to amass a hugely impressive list of bangers from their 6 albums; with tracks like ‘Turn’, ‘Greek Tragedy’, ‘Moving to New York’, and of course ‘Let’s Dance To Joy Division’, which won the NME Award for Best Dancefloor Filler in 2008. 2025 has seen The Wombats release their 6th studio album, Oh! The Ocean, which expands the band’s guitar filled sound to the furthest it’s ever been, resulting in an album more ambitious and polished than anything produced to date.
